Increased discussion of development issues: 41% said that they discussed the film with someone else. Knowledge Shifts: 77% of the viewers said that they gained a better understanding of the link between population growth and environmental quality. Practices: 82% of the people who watched at least one of the videos claimed that they were going to change their behavior by doing something about the sizes of their families. 69% planned to adopt family planning. 91% of the people who wanted to change their behavior wanted to change the environmental quality as a result of the films.
