My qualifications include: Ph.D. (Sociology), International Community Health Certificate, Master of Science (Nursing [Midwifery Major]) and Bachelor of Education (Bed.). Work experience includes management of social and health development programmes, offering of advisory services on formulation of national strategy /policy in social and health sectors, conducting intervention research, in particular on gender, health and other social sciences related areas for over 10 years. Earlier, I was lecturer in a Midwifery Training Program at Institute of Health Sciences Francistown for over ten years and left at executive management level. My experience cuts across social health programming/advocacy (including (SRHR – HIV/AIDS, gender), intervention research, health systems and policy analysis, strategic planning and, liaison roles and partnership forging between organizations. I participated in leading and directing several large scale intervention research projects while working with institutions like, the University of Oslo – Center of Anthropological Studies; Johns Hopkins University – Center for Communication Programs and United Nations Development Programme, Botswana. My work has contributed to several notable institutional publications in health research. I was recognized several times in my previous employ for exceptional performance. Currently, I am CEO of a social enterprise – The Consortium of Leadership and Gender Experts (CLGE) PTY Ltd that I founded. CLGE recently launched an African Empowered Leadership Development Dialogue (ELDD) Platform which was held in Gaborone Botswana on 9 June 2017. I also work with tertiary academic institutions developing curricular, institutional policy and offering part-time lecturing services.
