Dr.Bilquis Rehman is Social Development Professional and has been serving in development sector since 16 years; she has done her PhD in 2013 in Sociology on the topic of “Adolescent’s health issues”. Currently she is associated with two academic institutions as Associate Professor, Iqra University and NICE. She is also and social entrepreneur and initiated an advocacy forum with the name of Council for Participatory Development. Among her main achievements, she has played a leading role in the advocacy effort for child marriage restraint act 2013, while working as General Manger at HANDS and synchronized the efforts in passing the law from Sindh Assembly. Dr.Rehman has served in various prestigious organizations including Rahnuma FPAP, David and Lucile Packard Foundation in her career, and intervene through social development and research Projects.
