Education: President Deoraj has MBA Cert in Economics and is currently pursuing the completion of the Herriot Watt MBA in Natural Resource Management offered by the Edinburgh Business School/Dundee Univeristy. He holds a NEC Diplomas in Science Technician, LCCI Diploma in Public Relations and Marketing, NEC Diploma in Plant Operator, NCC Diploma in Computer Studies. University of West Indies: Certificate in Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising. He holds certificates in Administration Office Management, Supervisory Management, Project Management, House Plan Drawing, Health and Safety, First Aid and CPR and other survival courses. Pursued Studies and acquired Training in Natural Gas Technology, Process Plant Technology, Oil Production Technology, Drilling Engineering Technology and Pipe Technology. With Industrial Certification, Training and Experience in Water, Oil and Gas Drilling/Exploration, 15 years from 1995 to 2010. Background Experience: Deoraj started out his working experience as a Temporary Prison Officer II, Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service. He worked as a Teacher II for a short while, worked as a Senior Medical Technician (Six (6) Years of valuable medial experience) before he entered the Oil and Gas where he specialized in Drilling Fluids Engineer, Drilling Engineering Technology and Applications and Projects Management. He served in various capacities and was instrumental to the success of many of the milestone exploration project from 1995 to 2004, As Technical Supervisor and Technical Engineer at Baroid Trinidad and MI Trinidad Ltd respectively. Deoraj held the position of Projects Manager Offshore Fields Development at Ten Degree North Energy Ltd, before he was asked to exit the Company due to Global Economic Crisis and the then low Oil Prices in Jan 2009. Deoraj, has since venture in Project Management/Business Development Consultancy. He venture into Financial world as a Financial Advisor Sagicor Life Inc. (May 2009 to Feb 2010). A Paul Harris Fellow (Sapphire), Past President, Provisional / Chartered Member of the Rotary Club of Princes Town. He joined Rotary as a Rotarian at the age of 21 and 11 months, with the Classification of Medical Laboratory Services. Over the years he has held classification as Oil and Gas Exploration and currently he holds the Classification of Project Management. He is a member of the Rotary International - Action Group for Water Management, Multiple Sclerosis, Disaster Relief Rotarian Action Group (DRRAG), Humanitarian Service –Rotarian Action Group (HSRAG) and Rotary International Scouting Rotarians. He served as Chairman of the Civic Coordination Committee for the Beyond the Horizon 2009 US Army South PACCE, Humanitarian mission. Appointed by Lt. Col Dennis Freytes , US Army (Volunteer Work). He is currently the Trinidad Advisor of the Rotarian International Connectivity Network and sits on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Princes Town as the Immediate Past President.
