I'm a working journalist from Pakistan, currently completing my fellowship in US. I have reported from remote conflict regions throughout the areas of the Southern Punjab and Kashmir. Now I'm working for Aaj Television News Network in Pakistan. I've also worked for daily The News, Lahore for about 13-years. As Associate Producer for one of the largest television news networks in Pakistan my news packages have focused on investigative reports on terrorism, “honor” killings, gang warfare, ethnic conflict, environmental hazards and civil rights. His investigative reports probed the funding behind radical madrassah schools and exposed election fraud, tainted drinking water and theft of agricultural research funds. Also the president of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists local chapter, and the PFUJ is striving for journalists’ rights and press freedom. I'm also the member of South Asia Free Media Association (SAFMA), the largest network of South-Asian journalists in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
