Several activities in several NGOs, I have been member of different boards, I have been member of the University Student’s Union for three successive mandates. I am currently Union Representative of the workers of the Exprivia Solutions company, member of the board of UILM-UIL Union Representative for the province of Rome and Treasurer of ERA-ONLUS, Association for language democracy. • In March – April 1998 I took part to the UNESCO Conference of Stockholm on the “Cultural policies for development”, where I cooperated with the italian Deputy Prime Minister of the time, Mr. Walter Veltroni. • In 1999 I took part on the behalf of Radio Radicale, the most important italian radio of political information (that broadcasts live since 30 years all the meetings of the Italian Parliament) to the UNESCO General Conference and I coorganized a Seminar at the EP on “The right to the International Language before year 2020” (that I had it patronized by UNESCO and the UN, managing the relations with the Director of the UNESCO Linguistic Sector, with the Nobel Prize for Economics, Reihnard Selten and with other experts and politicians. • In August 2000 I was responsible for the cathering for the center of Rome during the World Youth Days. • In 2001-2004 I have been web editor of the site www.internationallanguage.org and in 2002 editor of the Green language newsletter • In March 2003 I was invited to take part to the UNESCO meeting of experts in linguistic policies, where I submitted a paper and managed to have some points inserted in the adopted Action Plan. In 2003-2007, I organized and took part to several press conferences and I am member of the press office of the ERA-ONLUS. • In February 2004 I gave a lecture to the LYMEC Paris Seminar on “A federal language for Europe”. In April 2004 I gave a briefing at the UN Committee for Human Rights on “A world Conference on languages now!” In December 2004 I took part, as a Treasurer of the ERA ONLUS to an emission of social information on the italian public television. • In May 2005 I gave a speech at the Bamako UNESCO Conference “Multilingualism for Cultural Diversity and Participation of All in Cyberspace”, in the framework of the preparatory meetings for the UN II Summit on Information Society. In July 2005 I took part to the Venice international workshop on "Pluralism and democracy in the extended middle east and in north africa", organized by "No Peace Without Justice” and had an amendment adopted in the final document. In August 2005 I gave a speech at the University of Prague on "Multiculturalism and linguistic education" at the international Conference on "The Idea of Education". • In May 2006 I gave a speech at the University of Kaunas on " Rethinking the European Linguistic Policies " in the framework of the international Conference on " Language, Diversity and Integration in the Enlarged Europe: Challenges and Opportunities ". In October 2006 I lead a delegation of ERA-ONLUS at the FAO World Congress on “Communication for Development”. In November 2006 I was invited as a keynote speaker at the Bratislava Conference on “Perspectives of language policy and language rights in the EU”, under the auspices of the European Commissioner on Education and Multilinguism Jan Figel. • In 2006-2007 I have been author and speaker of the program “Democrazialinguistica.it” on Radio Radicale. • In March 2007 I was invited and took the floor at the International Conference on “The role of parliaments in the Information Society”, organised by the Interparliamentary Union inside the Italian Parliament. In June 2007 I took part to the organisation of the Hearing at the European Parliament on “Socio-economic and political effects and consequences of linguistic discrimination” organised by the ALDE group.
