From Nashville, Scott Wofford is a senior in public relations with minors in business and political science. Scott has completed several interesting communications internships including Nissan’s North American Headquarters, The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the American Red Cross Headquarters, and Shell Capital Management. Utilizing his proficiency in graphic design, he designed the Baker Center’s 2009 newsletter. During the fall of 2009, he studied Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina at El Universidad del Salvador. Scott is currently in Washington, DC interning for Congressman Jim Cooper, the International Trade Administration of the Department of Commerce, and the Center for Development Communication. After graduation, Scott plans to work as a communications specialist for an international NGO or international development agency. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing guitar and piano, traveling, mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, and rock climbing.
