Victor Ogbodo is a strategic Behavior Communication specialist with over 18 years communication experience. He has provided significant technical assistance at different levels to governments, donors and NGOs. He uses innovative and diverse approaches to draw on best principles in research, curricula development, trainings, communication design and implementation. He has excellent technical writing, cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills. Victor provides support to the development of communication strategies as well as the provision of targeted capacity building for community based organizations. Victor currently provides support leadership in communication support to all Safe Blood For Africa Foundation’s projects in Nigeria. He has a demonstrated experience in Social and Behavior Change communication, implementation of training in Information, Education and Communication (IEC)/Media materials development, Interpersonal Communication and Counseling, community mobilization and coalition in both public and private sectors in HIV&AIDS prevention as well as in monitoring and evaluation of communication activities. Victor has basic computer skills and demonstrated skills in photography, radio and TV/video scripting and production, news reporting, media relations, media planning and buying, Public relations and Advertising. He is a member of the National Prevention Technical Working Group (NPTWG). NPTWG provides the technical lead for all HIV prevention interventions in the Nigeria.
