I am a development professional who has worked in the area of water and sanitation for the last 10 years. I previously worked at Arghyam, India's first hydro philanthropic organisation where I managed drinking and participatory groundwater management projects across nine states in India. I recently worked as Programme Manager, Asia Hub for Akvo, an international non profit, on mobile based monitoring of water and sanitation programmes, open data and use of transparency tools in development programmes. I have also has worked with Government departments and international and national NGOs in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and Vanuatu. I was recipient of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust Fellowship in 2010. I am currently an independent researcher writing on water and other developmental issues.
