My main educational background is in communication but through the years I have gone through differsnt aspect of development issues. At the onset of my career I worked with an organisation called ABANTU that introduce me to the world of gender and women development especially. I went on to do my Masters in environment, development and policy which shifted my focus to policy isuues but still with a link to gender. I am now working with a DFID program on accountability and voice. It involves working with Civil society and the state legislative arm. The work involves a lot of Advocacy and engagement strategies.
I can say personally I am very intersted in gender and development with emphasise on policy analysis and design.I find passion in changing the lives of the citizens through direct community engagement and participation. I believe very much that participatory governance iskey to social and physical development of any nation.
