I am sociologist with over 20 years of research in health seeking and disease prevention behaviour. I have a doctrate in SOciology in the area of HIV/AIDS and disease prevention seeking behaviour. I am intrigued in understanding patterns of everyday life as a way to learn how human interactions relates to consciously ad unconsously, rationally and lay motivated health seeking behaviour(s). In my PhD thesis I discussed HIV/AIDS prevention and sexual relationships in the context of everyday life experiences in married couples.
Other than that I love research and policy formulation that has to do with health promotion.
