CAUWDMOC is a non-profit humanitarian organization whose aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of women and children living in isolated or war affected regions and we had been on this project since 2006. CAUWDMOC won the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (WANGO) 2008 Humanitarian Award. CAUWDMOC was awarded a two-year Rainer Fellowship in 2008, extended for another year in 2009. CAUWDMOC was started by a group of concerned students and in collaboration with AU/UN-soldiers in 2006 who were struck by the needless suffering and preventable death in Africa. With education and behavior change, we are changing this. .We are working in one isolated corner of the earth that desperately needs help. Please join us in our mission to continue expanding our programs. CAUWDMOC, in partnership with communities and government, works to prevent disease, suffering and death in war affected areas through educational programs, provision of micro-loans to refugee mothers and the provision of general material necessities. CAUWDMOC main goal is to empower the communities so as to foster health resilience that is sustainable.
