Lead and organize the smooth transition of PMTCT interventions from the Hospitals and other health services to the door step of every family home( Out of hospital services to client), Provide directions in development of a strategic framework / road map document in the integration and linkage of SRH/ HIV/AIDS considering the three – ones principle, to meet the MDG’s and national goals and targets. Provide technical support in development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS prevention programmemes, strategies and policies with particular focus on integrating PMTCT into SRH. Advocate and promote for sustained commitment for integrating PMTCT into SRH. Provide technical services and training to other social groups in strengthening and implementating integrated PMTCT/MNCH services that As president of cafem cig i perform the following functions:-make up the continuum of care including prevention, care and support, and impact mitigation aspects of the health sector response to HIV/AIDS. -Develop relationship with other international organizations, Government agencies to help coordinate joint PMTCT activities and effective implementation of joint programmes. -Lead the FMOH team while undertaking assessment of the existing situations on interventions area for priorities integration and linkages, including the initiated activities such as FP/SRH and VCT, anti-retroviral treatment (ART) and vice versa. 1. Provide the vision, direction, inspiration and motivation necessary to ensure the Cafem group’s success. 2. Make decisions that result in efficient and effective Cafem group functioning. 3. Contribute to the dialogue, vision and direction of the pertinent global, national or local communities; for the fields of the Cafem Group’s focus areas; and to the field of philanthropy and accordingly: -Work with the board to help ensure that it is properly constituted and trained to conduct effective governance. -Work with the board and staff to define the Cafem group’s mission, communicate it effectively within the group and ensure that it serves continuously as an inspiration and guide and execute it. -Work with the board and staff to ensure adoption of and adherence to appropriate values and ethical standards in all Cafem group’s business, -Work with the board and staff to ensure proper care and development of the Cafem group’s history, culture, reputation and image. -Ensure that staff are properly selected, supported and guided and that their professional development is nurtured.
