Experience: Over twenty years experience in public health policy, law projects for clients in government (US, Canadian, British), international organizations, and the private sector.
• Designed, managed, and participated in policy, law, rights-based project activities in over 30 countries of Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Mid East, and Latin America.
• Primary investigator, researcher, author of books, writer/editor of project reports, articles and presenter/ moderator on a wide range of public health and law subjects, including HIV prevention, monitoring and evaluation, reproductive health, tuberculosis, avian influenza, substance abuse, international health regulations, emerging infectious diseases, emergency public health preparedness.
• Officer, leader, in American Bar Association (ABA); author or co-author for four (public health related) reports and recommendations adopted by the ABA House of Delegates as formal ABA policy.
• Team player, comfortable and effective in working with civil society NGO communities, with multidisciplinary program managers, policy makers in US, other countries, and international organizations.
