Organisation: Center for Global Communication Studies, Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania
Role: Deputy Director
Country: United States
I have worked in the media development sector since 1999, first at IREX, and then with the Stanhope Centre for Communications Policy Research in London. Since 2004, I have worked at the Center for Global Communications Studies at the Annenberg School, UPenn. I manage a media development project financed by USAID in Jordan, and through this have become very interested in media development in the Middle East. I also work on a public opinion project in Darfur, and am interested in media development and communications for development issues in conflict and post-conflict environments. I am currently working on a media law assistance website -- to be launched later this year.
