Search for Common Ground (SFCG), founded in 1982, is an international non-governmental organisation that promotes peaceful resolution of conflict. With headquarters in Washington, DC and a European office in Brussels, Belgium, SFCG's mission is to transform how individuals, organisations, and governments deal with conflict - away from adversarial approaches and toward cooperative solutions. With a total of approximately 400 staff worldwide, SFCG is in 24 countries (in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Africa) working with local partners to strengthen societies' capacity to deal with conflicts constructively: to understand the differences and act on the commonalities. The SFCG toolbox includes mediation/facilitation, track-two diplomacy, training, radio/TV production, journalism, sports, drama, and music.
