Editorial Policy - CI: Global

Editorial Policy of The Communication Initiative

Our focus, editorially, is on communication initiatives and events, materials, reports, etc. that focus on the use and support of communication to impact development, as well as trends in communication worldwide, regionally and by specific country. We strive to keep the information on our site non-promotional (with the exception of our Classifieds sections). Our policy is to provide informational summaries, with as much contact information as possible for people who seek further details and connection with the implementers/originators/authors/publishers. Very occasionally we will post full documents to the site.

The exceptions to the above policy are within the "Classifieds" sections on The CI websites (currently Vacancies, Events Calendar and Training sections). These sections include information which may be posted as a paid-for service, without editorial review from The Communication Initiative's Editorial Director.
