I am young and dynamic development communication professional having seven years of experiences working in INGO, NGO and different media organizations. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Tribhuvan University. For last two and half years, I have worked as a Communication Officer at USAID funded JSI/ Chlorhexidine Navi (Cord) Care Program. The program had received Global Science and Technology Pioneer prize. Nepal is the first country to introduce the use of Chlorhexidine for cord care and also developed national and community based social behavior change communication activities. Many countries has adopted from our experiences. The program had quite successful evidence though NDHS survey 2016 to reveal as the most heard and listened message in broadcasting outlets among the other several health communication programs. I have rich knowledge and skills on media and communication strategy, outreach communication, multimedia production, social media handling, publications writing and designing, and photography. I can work independently as well as team as per need of the program.
