Information on "Promoting Change to AIDS Relevant Laws and Policies by Means of Forming a National Alliance of MSM CBOs in Developing Countries" (Thursday July 22 2010, from 19:00-20:00, in Global Village Session Room 2) - will explore advocacy being carried out to unify the voices of men who have sex with men (MSM), with a focus on the Chinese experience. During this session, co-chaired by Jun Wang, Fei Yu, and Li Zhen - all from China, delegates from the China Male Tongzhi Health Forum and the Chinese Coalition of HIV+ will share their advocacy experience at the national level. Delegates from the Global Forum on MSM [men who have sex with men] and HIV (MSMGF) have also been invited to share their international experience. Panelists will hold a discussion on how to form a national MSM alliance in order to effectively unify the voice of the MSM population and promote MSM-advantageous change. In addition, the discussion will focus on changing HIV prevention policy and law by means of an equal dialogue with the government.
