This inaugural International SBCC Summit 2016 will bring together the global community of social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) organisations, professionals, and researchers to advance the practice of SBCC. The event will include talks from: SBCC field practitioners; a market fair of tools, methodologies, programmes, and research; skills-building workshops; and plenary sessions to "consider the way forward in elevating the science and art of SBCC." The summit will focus on health topics such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, family planning/reproductive health, and maternal, neonatal, and child health, among others. It will also highlight issues around water and sanitation, the environment, gender, and other related areas.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts for technical presentations and talks, as well as concept notes for SBCC Skills-Building Workshops, are being accepted until October 2, 2015. This deadline is getting very near of course. If you have any interest in submitting an abstract please let the organisers know as soon as possible at the link below.

Technical abstracts should be submitted under one of the following tracks:

  • Research monitoring and evaluation
  • SBCC Innovations and best practice
  • Multimedia showcase

All submissions must be in English, Spanish, or French.
