The National Organisation of Peer Education (NOPE), a Kenyan-based organisation with operations in the East African region, is hosting it’s 6th Conference, under the theme 'Zero Aids Now!' The main focus of the conference will be the reduction of new HIV infections. This will include identifying key priority areas that need fresh attention, situating the AIDS response within the broader social economic development agenda, and suggesting sustainability plans for governments and national mechanisms in the overall response. The conference is also intended to share the milestones achieved, while also examining missed opportunities in responses towards Zero AIDS.
