Event summary

Minority Rights Group International is organising a 5-day fully sponsored media training for non-governmental organisation (NGO) activists in Kampala (Uganda). The training is designed to build the capacity of minority and indigenous NGOs in the Africa region to generate their own media material and to interact with European Union-based and other international media.

Minority Rights Group International works worldwide to ensure that disadvantaged minorities and indigenous peoples can make their voices heard. They provide education and training to minority communities, lobby governments and the United Nations alongside and on behalf of minorities, publish reports, and advocate legal cases to advance the protection of minorities under international law.
