Event summary

Offered by the International Peace and Development Training Center (IPDTC) of the Romanian Peace Institute (PATRIR), this workshop has been created for those working in areas affected by conflict and working to contribute to peacebuilding and peace processes from the local to the national and international levels. The program is a practical, hands-on course designed to provide a dynamic and constructive environment to assess and reflect on experiences and to have the opportunity to learn practical and effective tools and methods, drawing from a broad-range of experiences in peacebuilding from around the world.

Case-studies have been chosen for the practical lessons they illustrate and what can be drawn from them. The training itself is designed to take participants in-depth into learning tools for analysis and implementation, from community-based peacebuilding to facilitating multistakeholder dialogues and peacemaking mediation.

Created for policy makers, practitioners, and those directly involved in peacebuilding, mediation, confidence and security building measures, and war to peace transitions, From Conflicts to Peace Processes is a pioneering program in the field.
