Resumen

This training guide and workbook uses the framework of the Beijing Platform for Action (BPFA) to demonstrate "the holistic nature of human rights as a powerful tool for action in the achievement of full equality, well being, and participation in the decisions that determine women's lives."

The book provides examples of women's initiatives throughout the world that strive to work within the BPFA framework and aims to prepare the readers to use human rights as a tool for systemic analysis and for social and economic transformation.
