The Centre de Formation des Journalistes (CFJ) and Cable News Network (CNN) are holding a competition for the two best news blogs in French or English by a student who is under 30 years of age on December 31st, 2006, and currently studying journalism at a university or school of journalism in a country within the European Union.
The winner of the "Grand Prix" will receive three months training at CNN International's London headquarters, and US$2,500 (excludes travel and general living expenses). The winner of the "Judge's Award" will receive one month's training organised by CFPJ International.

The blogs can cover general interest or specialist topics and must be freely available over the internet. They must be individual publications and regularly updated by their creators, who use them as a platform to express their views in writing and/or using photos, audio or video. They must feature hyperlinks and the possibility for users to provide feedback. The winning blogs will be chosen for their content, creativity, design, and user-friendliness.
