Resumen

Tracking Resources for Radios in Africa at the Benefit of Associative, Community and Educative Radio Stations (TRRAACE) is a resource website dedicated to community and associative radio stations across Africa.

Estrategias de comunicación

TRRAACE gathers useful information and resources for the benefit of associative, rural, local and community radio stations in Africa. It makes the information available and accessible to radios in Africa to facilitate and reinforce their work and performance. It proposes an annotated presentation, and when applicable, a link to the respective Internet site, about:

  • Radio networks
-African networks of associative, rural, local and community; radios stations.
    - International networks: national and international non-African networks of community radios.
    - Thematic networks: international networks of associative radio stations focused on specific sectors: rural, students and religious.
  • Partners offering support and services to the African radio stations :
    - Professional media associations
    - Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and operators
    - Donors
    - International radio stations and sites offering links to worldwide radio online.
  • African radios

Puntos clave

TRRAACE believes numerous resources for associative, local, rural and community radio stations exist, but they are scattered. It says many hours are spent on the Internet to find something, often in vain. “TRRAACE aims to save a lot of time by gathering all the information on one site.” TRRAACE selects the information independently.
