Association of Journalists Against AIDS in Tanzania (AJAAT) - TanzaniaPaísTanzania RegiónGlobal, África ResumenThe Association of Journalists Against AIDS in Tanzania (AJAAT) was formed by journalists concerned about the spread of HIV/AIDS in the country. The Association supports journalists who seek to deepen their journalistic expertise and knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the social, economic, and political factors that affect it. AJAAT'S mission is to contribute to the prevention, care, and control of HIV/AIDS in Tanzania by providing communication interventions to facilitate positive behaviour change toward reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS. It aims to give Tanzanian society access to correct information, facilities, and services related to HIV and also to empower Tanzanians to use these tools for their personal protection and the future of the nation.
