ResumenRITS offers a series of advanced tools and resources for collaborative work, information dissemination, and knowledge management: Intranet, access to databases, support in building sites in the network, technical training, legal assessment, and, eventually, computers. Estrategias de comunicaciónRITS produces and disseminates information free of charge for third sector organisations (NGOs, foundations, and civil society organisations) through the Internet. It unites network members by promoting exchange of experiences and by strengthening initiatives. It also makes technical resources - namely, ICTs - available to organisations to help them carry out their activities. RITS produces Rets – the Emerging Sector Review, which contains information on courses, upcoming conferences, current events, and work opportunities in civilian society organisations. It also includes in-depth articles. A current focus of RITS publications and activities is universal access to and citizens' use of ICT as a space to exercise democracy and to strengthen the Brazilian emerging sector. RITS is presently focusing on the following:
