A survey was conducted by The Communication Initiative (The CI) between December 2006 and January 2007 to gauge responses to the October 2006 World Congress on Communication for Development (WCCD) in Rome, Italy. The survey was designed to allow participants of the event as well as others who did not participate but share an interest in communication for development an opportunity to comment and reflect on the WCCD. It was an initiative of The CI and does not necessarily represent the views or perspectives of other organisations involved in the planning, preparation and implementation of the WCCD though it does appear to reflect the views of a significant number of those who participated.
