- Master of Science - Extension Education - This degree includes coursework entitled "Communication For Development" as a study of: the meaning, nature, and importance of communication; the key elements in communication process; theories and models of communication in society; factors influencing effective communication and barriers to communication; communication pattern and linkages; the innovation decision process; types of innovation and their rate of adoption; adopters categories; opinion leaders; diffusion network; and communication strategy for development. It also requires coursework in development psychology, instructional technology, journalism for rural development, and research and evaluation methods.
- PhD - Extension Education - This degree includes coursework in advanced research techniques and measurement, research management, educational technology, organisational management, women's programming, and training and evaluation, as well as a study of extension systems in India and abroad.
