if through NRM we can achieve and address a critical appraisal of conservation,acknowledging indigenous knowledge systems combined with knowledge production and dissemination, skills development and transfer and economic empowerment (poverty alleviation and job creation )thru the management of natural resources, we may be on track

Enrich the wealth of Natural Resources at least a 100-fold in 3 years

It appears impractical to stop, discount, or de-emphasise the economics. Negotiating the real costs seems to be making headway - eg carbon credits.

people and NRM can coexist with economic benefits sustainably integrated into initiatives especially for the poor and marginalised communities
