Solutions for Global Health AwardRegion

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Special Unit for South-South Cooperation invite nominations of a project or programme that has provided a successful solution to a public health problem through effective leadership, innovation, and partnership. Nominations may include any public or private institution, group, or project that has made significant contributions to human development in the global South and that has provided solutions to global health problems that could be replicated, scaled up, or adapted across developing countries. The South Development Solution (SDS) could be a Southern-grown solution, a South-South partnership solution, a North-South-South triangular partnership solution, a South-South-Multilateral Organisation solution, a Public-Private partnership solution, and/or combination of these. Criteria for Nomination: An independent committee will review all submissions to select the three South Development Initiatives that have provided a successful solution to a public health problem through effective leadership, innovation, and partnership. Nominated initiatives should have the following attributes:
