Basics of Community-Based Family Planning (CBFP) and Programme Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (PDME) of FP Programmes WorkshopStart DateFebruary 9 2009End DateFebruary 20 2009LocationAccra, Ghana Event summaryThe overall objectives of the workshop are to: a) Discuss key technical and programmatic concepts of FP service delivery; and b) Practice a six-step process for developing a project design using a results framework and a monitoring and evaluation plan that is linked to the project design. The workshop is designed to cover the key technical and cross-cutting areas needed to implement a quality community-based programme during the first week while the second week focuses on designing, monitoring, and implementing these programmes. Participants may register for one week or both weeks of the workshop depending upon their organisation's need. It is recommended but not required to stay for both weeks.
