International Film Competition on Health and Environment: "Focus on Children in a Healthy Environment"

International Network on Children’s Health, Environment and Safety (INCHES) launched an International Film Competition on Health and Environment centred on the themes “Climate” and “Environmental Health”. It runs until March 1 2009 and is open to all nationalities and ages. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of two categories divided by film length: 1) up to 5 minutes of duration and 2) up to 15 minutes.


The deadline for application is March 1 2009.

Application Information

Key points for applying are the following:

  1. The subjects are ‘health and environment’ and ‘climate’.
  2. Films must be available in broadcast quality.
  3. Contributors must be the sole author(s).
  4. By entering, filmmakers agree to INCHES showcasing their films during and after the competition and at conferences attended and/or organised by INCHES.
  5. No unlicensed use of copyrighted material.
  6. No rude, unlawful, or discriminatory material.
  7. No promotion of products or services.
