Summary
This 160-page guide, published by Ditshwanelo - the Botswana Centre for Human Rights, is written specifically for high school (Form Five) leavers in Botswana. It sets out the rights and responsibilities of young people as they leave school and enter the adult world and is designed to provide practical advice. This includes sections on life skills, relationships, health and wellness, drugs and substance abuse, family, further education and university, training and work, home, leisure and entertainment, travel and transport, managing money, safety, security, the police and access to justice, environmental matters, and governance. A directory lists organisations that youth can contact for further information and help.
