Summary

This book aims to raise awareness of the role that parents and families can play in the lives of their deaf children and in their communities. It intends to provide practical examples showing how families, service providers, and deaf people can work together to support deaf children.

The book takes an action learning approach and includes case studies from around the world, suggestions to aid reflection, and guidance for improving practice.
