People Building Peace IISummaryThis collection of stories, in both a print edition and an online edition, aims to show examples of how civil society has made a difference in conflict areas around the world. The online collection, from the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict of the European Centre for Conflict Prevention (ECCP), includes stories from the publication: People Building Peace II (with a plan to include People Building Peace I in the future), as well as new stories not previously published in the editions from the ECCP. These stories are structured under themes. The theoretical chapters from "People Building Peace II: Successful stories of Civil Society" are to be found under 'Reflection' chapters. In addition to being organised by thematic category, the collection can be searched by country or region, author, organisation, photo from the picture gallery, or by name using the search engine. If you wish to recommend a story for inclusion in this collection or would like to purchase any of the books, please contact Charlotte Crockett: c.crockett@conflict-prevention.net PublisherNumber of Pages697 CostUS$26.50 (print edition)
