Shoot Nations 2008: Young People in a Changing Climate

Summarydesc: 

PLAN UK invites young people aged 11 - 24 from anywhere in the world to upload photos or drawings on the theme 'Young People in a Changing Climate'. The sponsors hope to see representations of the environmental issues affecting young people all around the world. Uploaded entries have the opportunity to be exhibited at the United Nations headquarters in New York City for International Youth Day, August 12 2008. The first prize is a Olympus digital SLR camera. A United Kingdom (UK) winner will be accompanying Plan to the World Youth Congress in Quebec for International Youth Day 2008.

 

Young people can take 3 photographs or draw 3 pictures that capture the following:

  1. How is climate change affecting your life?
  2. Act now - be the change!
  3. Your world in the future.

 

 

Enter one photo/drawing per theme and upload entries with a caption to explain what your photo is about.

 

 

The competition is open from May 1 2008 - July 31 2008. The deadline for application is July 31 2008.
