June 26, 2009

The Annenberg School’s Norman Lear Center invites nominations of practitioners in the field of entertainment education, including artists and/or producers of entertainment education programmes. Nominations of scholars or researchers who study the impact of these messages are also invited for consideration.

Recipients of the award will be recognised at the annual Sentinel for Health Awards event in Los Angeles, CA, United States. The event is produced by the Hollywood, Health & Society project at the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg’s Norman Lear Center. The Sentinel for Health Awards programme brings together entertainment writers and producers who are recognised for health storylines that have potential benefit to audiences with entertainment scholars who are recognised for research that has potential benefit to other researchers, practitioners and audiences. In addition, the Rogers Award recipient will present their work at a USC colloquium for students and faculty.
