Event/Training Summary: 

This course, run by the African Media and Research Foundation (AMREF), is designed to equip participants with competencies in monitoring and evaluation of health and development interventions at project, programme and organisational level.

According to AMREF, by the end of the four week course, participants would have gained:

  • concise understanding of the concepts, principles, and processes of monitoring and evaluation;
  • knowledge and skills in designing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems;
  • competence in formulation of change-oriented indicators and change monitoring frameworks;
  • knowledge and skills in using different tools and methods for data collection;
  • competence in the application of qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools and methods, effective report writing, and presentation.
