Summary
Facilitating Multicultural Groups provides a practical resource for facilitators working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. It takes the reader through research in the field, as well as models, frameworks, and processes that are designed to assist with the preparation, facilitation, and evaluation of workshops. It offers techniques to develop inter-cultural dialogue as a tool for enhancing understanding and teamwork between people from culturally diverse groups. These and other techniques described in the book are intended to facilitate context-appropriate communication about differences, particularly within conflict situations.
