The South-South Exchange Programme for Research on the History of Development (Sephis programme) encourages research proposals at the interface of history, theory, and development practice. Fellowships are available at the post-doctoral and PhD levels. Funding will be provided for travel, research costs, and salary according to local standards. These fellowships extend from a minimum of three months to a maximum of two years for fellowships at post-doctoral level and three years for fellowships at PhD level. The Sephis programme has two sub-themes:
