Reproductive Health (RH) in Emergencies Conference 2008 (June 18-20 2007)Start DateJune 21 2008End DateJune 23 2008LocationKampala, Uganda Event summaryHosted by Reproductive Health Access, Information and Services in Emergencies (RAISE), the Reproductive Health (RH) in Emergencies Conference 2008 aims to bring together a wide range of actors from the fields of RH in emergencies, reproductive health, humanitarian assistance and development to contribute to the expansion of comprehensive RH services in crisis settings. The conference organisers are inviting participants to engage in dialogue and help to ensure that “refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) receive the comprehensive RH care to which they are entitled. “
Participants will share their experiences and perspectives, and learn from each other about how to improve the effectiveness of their programmes and advocacy efforts.

Registration InformationThe organisers encourage individuals and agencies active or interested in the reproductive health of women, men and young people affected by conflict and natural disasters to attend this Conference. This includes field staff, managers, researchers, policy makers and donors representing: community-based organisations; non-governmental organisations; government offices; academic and research institutions; United Nations agencies, and donor organizations. Online registration will open on February 01 2008.
The non-refundable registration fees will be as follows:
