Project Awards for the Development of HIV/AIDS ProgrammingRegion

The Caribbean Broadcast Media Partnership (CBMP) Project Awards Program aims to provide small awards of up to US$5,000 to help motivate and underwrite the development and production of local television and radio programming on HIV/AIDS and related issues in the Caribbean. CBMP member broadcasters are encouraged to submit innovative programming concepts for consideration under the awards programme. Whenever possible, multiple broadcasters should work collaboratively to develop joint proposals for consideration. All CBMP Award funds will be allocated directly to broadcasters for production of HIV-themed content either solely or in concert with other funding provided by the broadcaster. Funding awards will be contingent on the broadcaster’s willingness to provide final content rights free of charge to other CBMP broadcasters.
