LocationCape town, South Africa Event summaryJohns Hopkins University, in partnership with the Stellenbosch University HIV Programme, is hosting this course on Leadership in Strategic Health Communication, with a special focus on HIV, AIDS and Reproductive Health. This course seeks to be an opportunity for health leaders to explore health communication on the African continent and seeks to challenge individuals to critically evaluate and fundamentally change mindsets about health communication.
Registration InformationParticipants must be fluent in written and spoken English. Applicants are advised to apply early due to the large number of applicants expected and a limited number of places. Applications will be subjected to selection criteria, and the The first 25 qualifying applicants will be enrolled in the training programme.
The workshop fee is offered at a discounted rate of R 19 030.00 if paid by 15 February 2008. Fees paid after 15 February will be paid at the regular R 21 230.00. The fee includes training costs, materials, supplies, in-workshop transportation, field trips, certificates, luxury accommodation at The Erinvale Estates Hotel including breakfast daily, as well as morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on weekdays.
