Event summary

Hosted by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - Southeast Asia Regional Delegation, this monthly meeting provides a forum for inter-agency information sharing/coordination regarding avian influenza activities. Participants include representatives of country and regional offices of international organisations, United Nations (UN) agencies and donor organisations based in Bangkok.

In addition to monthly updates from each organisation on avian influenza activities, specific themes are discussed each month. The theme of the November meeting will be Private Sector Preparedness.

The meeting will be held from 2 to 5 pm at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Sukhumvit Soi 22, Bangkok.
