The One World festival is now accepting short and feature length documentary films and short animation films with human rights themes. One World is a year-round institute dedicating itself to the promotion of documentary films, for example, in cooperation with Czech Television or in the form of documentary Mondays in the Světozor cinemas, in addition to education projects.
Films can be entered in the following categories:
- Main Competition;
- Right to Know Competition;
- Short Forms Competition;
- Non-competitive thematic categories.
Only films completed in the last two years can by considered for the competitive programme.

The deadline for application is September 30 2008.
To submit a film, fill in the online entry form and mail a preview DVD or VHS. Click here to access an online form.

When sending a DVD or VHS to the festival, please always specify: for non-commercial use. Due to the large number of submissions, preview copies will not be returned. If your film is selected, the following screening formats are acceptable: 35 mm, 16mm, Beta SP Pal, DVCam, Mini DV, and, in exceptional cases, DVD, but not Digibeta and NTSC formats.
