Description

The ICT4D Collective at Royal Holloway, University of London brings together staff from Geography, Computer Science, Management, Geology and related disciplines, to undertake research and teaching on all aspects of the use of information and communication technology for development (ICT4D). Particular emphasis is placed on the creation of a multidisciplinary and international group of doctoral research students.

Programmes

  1. Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and PhD degrees in ICT4D - The Collective welcomes enquiries from applicants with suitable qualifications and experience for doctoral research in all aspects of information and communication technologies for development. A good upper second class undergraduate degree and a relevant Master's degree are usually required for entry. Most students study full-time, but in exceptional cases it is also possible to study part-time and distance-based.

  2. Master of Science (MSc) in Practising Sustainable Development - The Department of Geography also provides a Master's Programme in Practising Sustainable Development, that includes some aspects of specific interest to those interested in communication for development.
