At ABTI-American University of Nigeria (AAUN) all students, regardless of academic specialty, receive extensive training in information technology; and are taught the principles of entrepreneurship in order to contribute to the economic development of the region.

On admission at ABTI-American, each student receives a laptop computer for personal use. There is 24-hour, campus-wide, wireless internet connectivity. A broadband V-SAT facility is in place.
