A 60% increase in the number of "Wellness” web sites was seen between Nov. 5, 1997 to June 20, 1998, to create a total of 355,810 documents available on the web. The number of "Preventative medicine” web sites increased by 25% over the same time period.


Increased discussion of development issues:


Inexpensive and portable video equipment has increased the use of teleconferencing over the Internet. E-mail services have greatly enhanced the number of professionals and people communicating over the Internet.
